French Level B2 is a designation developed by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL) to refer to upper intermediate French language proficiency.
B2 French is the standard required to qualify for immigration programs such as PEQ in the province of Quebec.
Introduction to French is a 2-4 week beginner level program designed to help students learn the basics of the language and develop an appreciation for it. Students can take this program as a starter course before joining more intensive French language programs.
Students will attain their B2 certification like they would in our regular stream program, however, with the immersion options, students will engage in workshops and cultural activities meant to reinforce oral language skills.
This can be a particularly attractive option for students who are planning to interview for programs or jobs in French.
Our “coffee and conversation” program is for students who wish to practice their French in a relaxed atmosphere. Students meet up every Friday and have conversations with each other while having coffee or tea.
Our Interview Preparation program is a short term and intensive 2 day course for those who have completed one of our main programs. It is designed to help students prepare for important interviews and other situations which require a high level of oral proficiency.
